Jeff Reynolds grew up on a farm in the rural town of Tragowel, as one of four siblings.
He attended Kerang Technical High School for his secondary education, then relocated to Bendigo to attend LaTrobe University. After trying his hand at Town Planning, he found his passion lay elsewhere, and in 2005 he applied for photography at the same University. In 2008, Jeff graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Arts (Photography) and the following year, returned to successfully undertake the Honours component of his degree.
